Ajay Devgn turns terrorist for Priyadarshan’s next film

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn who has played a role of Tapori in the latest film ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ would now be seen as a terrorist in Priyadarshan’s upcoming film that is a remake of Jan de Bont’s ‘Speed’.

The remake is different from the original version in aspect of the speeding transport where the original ‘Speed’ talked about a bomb scare in a speeding bus while Priyadarshan’s desi version will have a speeding train. Confirming the news, Priyadarshan said, “But the difference in my film is that we’ve shifted the terror attack from a bus to a train.” Besides Ajay, the untitled film features Kangna Ranaut, Manoj Bajpai, Tusshar Kapoor, Sameera Reddy and Suniel Shetty.

Talking about the cast of the film, the filmmaker said, “I’ve just signed Kangna opposite Ajay. I’ve never worked with her or Ajay before. Tusshar Kapoor and Sameera Reddy have also been cast as terrorists. My other favourite Suniel Shetty is also there in a special role.”

David Boreanaz sued for alleged sexual harassment

TV hunk David Boreanaz is being sued by an actress who claims he sexually harassed her after they met filming his hit US show Bones. Kristina Hagan claims the sexual harassment started in August 2009 when she worked as an extra on the show.


Her lawsuit alleges married Boreanaz pleasured himself in front of her and sent her “sexually inappropriate” text messages, including a picture of his penis.
The suit claims Boreanaz told Hagan he was an executive producer on Bones and could “make things happen for her”.


Hagan claims in September 2009 Boreanaz “attempted to kiss her and touch her breasts” while they were in a parked car, but she says she pushed him away. She says Boreanaz then unzipped his trousers and pleasured himself. The lawsuit also details another alleged encounter that same month in Boreanaz’s trailer, where Hagan claims he grabbed, kissed and fondled her before pleasuring himself.


Hagan says Boreanaz told her they would have to “cool it” the following month amid reports of him cheating on his wife. She claims he repeatedly promised to find her an acting role but never delivered.

Akshay made me feel comfortable on the sets: Trisha

She is about 30 films old down South, but actress Trisha Krishnan had to make a new beginning in Bollywood for her debut Hindi film ‘Khatta Meetha’ She was a little reserved on the sets, which made co-star Akshay Kumar do all to make her feel comfortable.


“I wasn’t interacting much with people during my early days in ‘Khatta Meetha’. Also, I was a little tense about the dialogues because this is my first Hindi film.
“Akshay came and told me girls in Mumbai talk so much while I was the opposite as I was so much quieter. For him, it was a new experience after all,” Trisha told PTI.
The 27-year-old actor lauds Akshay for reaching out to make her more relaxed on the sets instead of acting like a superstar.


“I told him ‘Ok, I take your feedback. I will now make an effort to change myself’ Credit to him actually for making me feel so much more involved. He is such a veteran and could have easily opted to stay in his own world but he still made an effort,” said Trisha.


‘Khatta Meetha’, to be released on July 23, is a satirical comedy by filmmaker Priyadarshan which stars Akshay as a middle-class road construction contractor named Sachin Tichkule and Trisha plays a district collector.
When it comes to Bollywood movies, actors are said to be a lot more pampered compared to their counterparts from South. Was the experience any different while working in ’Khatta Meetha’ since it was Akshay Kumar’s production?


“The film boasts of predominantly the team that has worked with Priyadarshan for years. The film basically had a set up from South so for me, it was not much different”, Trisha said.


The actress said that if there was any outsider in the crew, it was the ‘Khiladi’ himself.
“If there was an outsider on the sets, it was Akshay himself. Since I had worked with most of the crew members in my films down South, it was a familiar territory for me. On the other hand Akshay had to work extra hard since he had to build relationships while doubling up as a producer,” she said.


Although she is playing a de-glam sari-clad role in her very first Bollywood flick, Trisha doesn’t want to be branded as a serious actress right away and is looking forward to glamorous roles in her future Bollywood assignments.
“One should not be branded after her first film itself. Just because I am wearing a saree in the film doesn’t mean people are not going to see my glamorous avatar. I am sure that tomorrow, there would be many more opportunities.


“Till then, why don’t you enjoy the brief moments of the glam side of me through the song ‘Nana Chi Taang’? After all that song is totally glam and rocks,” said Trisha.

An actress at the center of the case against John Stagliano

opens up about the darker sides of the adult business

Last week, jurors watched nearly an hour of "Milk Nymphos" in the federal obscenity trial against pornographer John "Buttman" Stagliano. Headphones were provided, two TV screens were directed at the jury box, and 14 strangers were asked to perform their civic duty by drinking in, so to speak, this decidedly unwholesome ode to dairy enemas.
The coverage of the case, which was dismissed late Friday thanks to sloppy work by the Justice Department, largely focused on the legendary "Buttman" — but I kept thinking about the women in the film. What must it be like to be the focus of a rare federal obscenity trial in Washington, D.C., to have your work broadcast for people who hadn't sought it out, to be evaluated in terms of "community standards," offensiveness and "serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific" merit?

What better person to answer these questions than Lorelei Lee, one of the stars of "Milk Nymphos" and countless other films made during her decade in the adult industry. Fresh off a plane from D.C., the 29-year-old New York University grad student spoke with me by e-mail about everything from the aesthetics of porn to the eroticization of racial epithets to how being a barista compares to having sex for pay.

You motioned to have your real name withheld from the proceedings — why was that important for you?
While most of the fan mail that I receive is positive, I've also received a number of e-mails that have been pretty frightening. For my own safety, my professional name is the one that I use in every public context. There was never a need for my legal name to be revealed in open court. The prosecutor's claim that using my professional name would give me an "air of legitimacy" was incredibly insulting.

You were sequestered for the trial but ultimately didn't have to testify, since the case was dismissed. What would you have said in defense of Stagliano?

Part of my job as a witness was to take the jurors through the process of the film's production. I would have described the health and safety precautions taken — mandatory 28-day STD testing, the extensive hygiene process before an anal or on-camera enema scene. One of the allegations against John was that these films were scatological — I wanted to be sure the jurors understood that this wasn't true.

I would have described the art and artifice of the filming process — to emphasize that what we're doing is creating a performance — with stops and starts and retakes, and hundreds of aesthetic decisions being made throughout — rather than simply going into a room with a camera and fucking.


We also discussed the possibility of my testifying to the reasons I make these kinds of films. I think this imagery is important as a contrast to the majority of mainstream representation of women's sexuality. The prevailing message women receive is that sexual aggression is unfeminine, that a woman's primary sexual role is as regulator of male desire — to say yes or no, but not to pursue desires of our own. Women are still often taught that sexy is the same as "pretty," that it means dressing a certain way and then waiting to be approached. These films show women being sexually aggressive and powerful in a way that sometimes isn't pretty, but is definitely sexy. Lastly, I might have talked specifically about the eroticism of some of the less often understood acts in the film, such as enema play and "cum swapping."


What would you say to folks who are offended by the content in "Milk Nymphos" — or any of your other work?


Well, first I would say: Don't watch it. I don't make these films in order to be shocking or confrontational. I make them for the audience that seeks them out. There is a community of people who find these films hot, erotic, joyful and even beautiful. Those are the people who I hope see this imagery.


Second, I would say that of the many ideals this country is founded on, the freedom of speech is, I think, one of the most cherished. Because we live in a country that presumably doesn't censor ideas no matter how unpopular, we are able to better cultivate our own individual belief systems — one of the ways we learn what we believe in is by encountering language and imagery that we disagree with or have strong reactions to. The best ideas come out of reckoning with the unfamiliar.

Less frequently mentioned in the coverage of the trial was the fact that "Milk Nymphos" stars two white female performers, including yourself, and a black male co-star, and the N-word is used a couple of times. What do you make of this politically offensive side of porn?

What you're referring to is Annette Schwartz using the N-word when talking to Jon Jon during the "Milk Nymphos" scene I also performed in. She says, "Give me that n---- cock," and similar phrases. It isn't a word that I'm comfortable using or hearing. I've talked about this a lot with my fellow performers, and particularly with my African-American co-stars, and I can understand the eroticism of it in the same way that I can understand the eroticism of words like "whore" or "cunt."


When I'm performing in a scene with someone — or better yet, with my lover in my bedroom — I know that I'm not a whore or cunt in the degrading sense of the word and that the person I'm with doesn't think of me that way, and because of this we can play with the taboo of that language in a way that changes the words — takes the negative power out of them. This kind of language is so charged and feels naughty to say, and that can be incredibly hot. So it works for me as a reclaiming act. That being said, I still can't say the N-word myself.

I don't know specifically how Jon Jon or Annette may have discussed the use of that word in the "Milk Nymphos" scene, but I do know that for Annette, because English wasn't her first language, that word didn't evoke all the connotations for her that it did for me. She always said it was much easier for her to say swear words or "dirty" words in English than in her native German. While the director Jay Sinn didn't instruct her to say that, I know that she had been directed to use that kind of language on other sets.

Porn, I think, is sometimes dark because sex is sometimes dark — because people are sometimes dark. Of course, porn is also often lighthearted, funny, ugly, gorgeous and ridiculous. Human desires evolve out of our varied, complex experiences in the world. Sex is so basic to our humanity, and sexuality is an arena, like dreaming, that connects us to the parts of ourselves we don't always fully understand or have words for. This is what makes sexuality fascinating and endlessly variable and certainly worth performing.


Whenever porn is publicly scrutinized, the issue of dehumanization arises. Many would see some of the extreme things you do onscreen as degrading. What's your experience of it, though?

Well, I've had very few experiences on porn sets that I would classify as "degrading." I've had infinitely more degrading experiences as a waitress or a barista in a chain coffeeshop than I've ever had on set. That, of course, has everything to do with working conditions and nothing to do with what I'm actually doing as my job.


I also don't think you can take imagery out of context and say that it has inherent meaning — any interpretation of an image has to do with the social and cultural context in which it's viewed. If we lived in a society in which women's sexuality was celebrated, and was seen as usually proactive rather than usually passive, I don't think people would jump so quickly to the concepts of exploitation and dehumanization when they thought of female performers.
That being said, I'm definitely interested in playing with objectification and power dynamics in my personal sex life as well as in my on-camera performances. During a performance, I might decide to "dehumanize" myself with a mask or blindfold in order to more deeply enter the fantasy of the scene.


In one version of his closing argument, defense attorney Paul Cambria said, "It's always about context." He described how he wouldn't bring a copy of Playboy to dinner at his grandmother's house, not because Playboy is obscene, but because it would be out of context. We are constantly choosing when and where to say or do things. In a performance, I might do any number of things that are appropriate in the context of the scene, but would have a different meaning if you viewed that performance as being an expression of who I am in my entirety. No reconciliation with Winslet, says Mendes


Sam Mendes' representative has dismissed reports the British director is preparing to reconcile with estranged wife Kate Winslet, insisting there is "no truth" to the speculation.The stars announced in March that their seven-year marriage had come to an end earlier this year, but the split appeared to be amicable, with both of them stepping out in public with their children shortly after the news hit the headlines.


Reports over the weekend claimed the former couple was attempting to save its marriage with a romantic summer break at their Gloucestershire, England manor house.


Contactmusic.com reports, Mendes' spokesperson is adamant the claims are false and there is "no truth" in the story.The pair is parents to six-year-old son Joe, while Winslet is mother to Mia Honey, her nine-year-old daughter from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton.

Another woman claims of abusive relationship with Mel Gibson

After his former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, another woman has claimed to have had a relationship with Hollywood star Mel Gibson alleging that he was "abusive" towards her."He called me up screaming and said he would make me suffer," Violet Kowal, 26, told Fox News.Gibson apparently became angry when their three-month-long relationship became public last year, Kowal said."I was so scared of him. It was a huge emotional experience for me. I was close to going to the police but instead of that I went into hiding for a few weeks," she added.


Kowal, who is a Polish fitness model, said she first met the 54-year-old actor back in 2007 when he was married to wife Robyn.It wasn't until after his divorce that she began a relationship with Gibson last year, she claims. Kowal said she was unaware of Gibson's relationship with 40-year-old Grigorieva, with whom he had a baby daughter, Lucia, last October.



"He never talked about Oksana or the baby. It was like they weren't in his life," said Kowal, who said she last saw Gibson at Thanksgiving (November) last year.Kowal said she has records of calls she received from Gibson's home and mobile phone numbers as proof of the relationship.Gibson, 54, previously denied having a relationship with Kowal, with the actor's representative describing the story as an "absurd fabrication."He is under pressure after Grigorieva claimed he punched her and hurt their baby, Lucia, now eight months-old, in a drunken rage in January.


Tapes of alleged conversations between the former couple have also been leaked over the Internet.In them, Gibson is allegedly heard verbally abusing Grigorieva with obscenities and racial tirades. Mel Gibson dead rumors


The rumor that Mel Gibson is dead follows several recent highly-publicized rants and raves by the actor/director/producer. After some serious drinking, he has allegedly made inappropriate remarks, and they were gleefully picked up and publicized by Hollywood's infamous gossip panderers.


Of course, those bottom-feeders don't want the headline maker dead and gone, because Gibson keeps them busy, brings on more advertisers and their pages full of his latest escapades, whether true or otherwise.


So far, Gibson hasn't officially denied rumors of his demise, but as the very much alive mark twin once said: The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.
However, it may be possible that Gibson's career is dead, at least as far as the United States is concerned. He has been very successful in making real and imagined enemies in Hollywood over the past several years, involving both his professional and personal lives.


First, being a practicing alcoholic, one night he argued with a cop who pulled him over for erratic driving. The booze opened his mouth to bigoted curses against the cop and supposed ethnic background. Known for being outspoken, Gibson spewed out more bigoted venom during a recent radio interview.


Gibson left his wife of 30 years and seven children to cavort with a Russian immigrant of questionable motives. Then we she was impregnated, he decided he didn't want to stay married to her. She, being very opportunistic, decided to record his rants and raves, hire a law firm and attempt to dig into some of his millions.


Though born in the United States and a citizen, Gibson spent his boyhood years in Australia. At age 20, he managed to land a part as a soldier in an Aussie war series. That led to larger roles, and eventually Hollywood came calling. Gibson has been highly successful ever since.


According to the latest information, Mel Gibson is still very much alive and kicking, but is deeply troubled by his growing legal problems and, except for the gossip mags and TV programs, increasingly hostile American media. The latest rumor is that Gibson is selling all of his property and business connections in the U.S., and intends to relocate to Australia.


To his decreasing number of fans in the nation where he earned millions of dollars, Gibson's angry, anti-American gesture may seem tragic. Conversely, to his growing number of anti-Gibson fans, the response may be: Good riddance!
